Scott Snibbe, The Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation
Scott Snibbe is an artist and creative tech entrepreneur, working primarily with augmented reality. Snibbes interactive installations can be seen from airports to well-known art institutions, like the NYMoMA and Whitney, and on the tours of Björk and Philip Glass. Hes the founder of Eyegroove, recently acquired by Facebook to integrate its effects into their various platforms; and holds over 30 patents for apps and technologies hes created throughout his diverse career.
Scott Snibbe will speak on how interactive art experiences have become core features of social media and entertainment products today, with examples from his digital artworks and social media startups.
